Data Display Products is pleased to announce that RoHS compliant part numbers from our standard product line are now available. The majority of our discrete LED’s, PCB mounted devices, and panel mount devices are compliant. Some lamp-based models are now available with more part numbers on the way in the near future.
Please see the accompanying RoHS Compliant Standard Catalog Products List and visit our on line product catalog listings and look for the RoHS Compliant Icon:

How to Order:
RoHS compliancy must be requested at the time of ordering. Make your requirements known on your contract or P.O. documentation. If ordering by phone, please indicate requirements to our Customer Service Representative. This will ensure that a RoHS compliant version of your order will be processed and that proper labeling is attached to the packaging. An example of our intermediate bag label is shown below:

An official *Certificate of Material Compliance for qualified part numbers or product families is available upon request. Please specify if such a declaration is required when you place your order.
Also, be aware that some part numbers may require longer lead times due to the availability of certain components.
If you do not see a part number on our compliant list, contact our customer service department as many part numbers are still under evaluation or are in the process of becoming RoHS compliant and may not be listed.
Custom Part Numbers:
For customers with existing “SP” Special Part numbers, please contact our customer service department for RoHS compliancy status and lead times. Custom designs may require additional investigation and sourcing of RoHS compliant materials and components.
Background:
DDP’s approach to RoHS compliance is that of “Self-Declaration”. This involves the gathering of RoHS compliant declarations, certifications and test data from our suppliers for their materials, components and/or processes and verifying that our own in-house processes are compliant (e.g., implementing lead-free solder). All proof documents are then archived in a technical file.
An official Certificate of Material Compliance* can then be issued to customers for qualifying part numbers and product families at their request.
Regarding customer surveys and questionnaires:
We will make every effort to respond to our customer’s requests. However, due to the number of inquiries that we have been receiving, and the complexity of certain types of surveys, DDP may not be able to complete or respond to all requests per customer timetables.
*Disclaimer:
